Pink Goes Red for Heart Health 5K: March 1-31. Presented by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sigma Upsilon Omega Chapter of Summerville. Race fee is $25, fee increases on Feb. 14 and March 14. Participants will complete their 5K (3.1 miles) between March 1-31. This race is virtual and based completely on the honor system. Races may be completed through walking or running in the location of your choice. The first 200 registrants are guaranteed a complete swag bag. Rosie the Riveter Family Fun Day: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., March 26, on the site of the Dorchester Heritage Center’s future facility, Hwy. 78 near Ridgeville. If your issue requires further service or repair, then you can be placed on her service waiting list.
